Hello!

Elise Osborn – Class of 2026

My name is Elise Osborn and welcome to my website!

In the Spring of 2026 I will be graduating from California State University, Fullerton with my Bachelor’s in Communication Studies. Upon completing my degree I wish to pursue a Master’s Program within the same field and with these qualifications I plan to make a career within higher education, either in human resources or academic advising.

I transferred to CSUF from Shasta College, located in Redding, CA. Throughout my years in college, both at community and at CSUF, I have grown to love the college experience and appreciate the hard work that it takes from all staff and faculty that come together to work and operate these higher education institutions. Through even my own experiences working as a Student Assistant in the library, I have come to love assisting anybody whether it be faculty, staff, or students to help generate a more cohesive, equitable, and positive environment on and off campus. Based on this I find that my one of my primary goals in life, the reason why I work the way that I do, is for others. It is to be helpful and create meaningful connections, it is just one way to relieve the stress of this ever changing world. This belief, I would say, comes from the deep hard-working values instilled into me at a young age from my parents and family. Which is why this website is dedicated to them.

Outside of school I am a rather creative, artistic, and adventurous person. I grew up out in the countryside where some of my most fond memories are going on long hikes and backpacking trips to simply enjoy nature at its’ true beauty. My primary love language is spending time with others, so whenever I can, I always want to spend time with those I love most which include my boyfriend, family, and animals. Somewhat recently I have been getting back into reading, specifically classical books that are at least over 40 years old. My favorite book that I finished earlier this year was the Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, but my all time favorite author is Jane Austen. As a result I do splurge in rewatching both the shows and movies of any of Jane Austen’s work, but the one that I know by the back of my hand is the Pride & Prejudice PBS show released in the 1990’s.
